A more accurate name for Tim Hudak’s “Town Halls with Tim” tour would be “The Purveyor of Ignorance” tour.
The economic meltdown of 2008 and corporate tax cuts caused Ontario’s deficit. Ontario had three years of balanced budgets before the economic meltdown and the resulting loss of revenues.
We did not have a medical meltdown and we did not have an education meltdown. Piling on nurses, doctors and teachers (and public servants in general) may be popular, but it is not going to solve our fiscal woes.
